There was a show on "Alien Abduction" a few weeks ago. It was about the McPherson family who supposedly filmed their own alien encounter on Thanksgiving, 1997, and have not been seen since.
Have you any knowledge of this show? Can it possibly be true? I find the film fascinating and frightening and I have watched it several times. I lean toward it being true, as the emotions seem so real to these people. If you could give me any information or insight, I would appreciate it.

Yes, we also watched that program and with the assistance of "our friend," asked questions about the scenes as they were being aired. The program looked realistic and believeable, however, there were discrepancies noted.
Our attempt to locate the aliens on the program came up negative... meaning, the aliens were not there. Another discrepancy had to do with the way the person (video operator) filmed...the video was very stable during a time of crisis. The video operator showed no nervousness whatsoever...there were no sign of camera jitter. Yet another discrepancy was noted concerning the bottles popping. But the light bulbs didn't break and lights are seen still on, nor were other glass products shown breaking.
Throughout the ordeal, the video camera stayed in focus, yet at the end of the program the camera suddenly went blurry...what happened to the auto focus.
After the program, they conducted commentaries of the show by several knowledgeable extraterrestrial individuals. Some of them were not speaking the truth.

Thanks for the reply. I did wonder about the lightbulbs, and a sixteen year old kid being able to remain steady enough to film. I don't know anything about camcorder myself, but I do know I wouldn't be thinking of filming during any crisis.
Thank you for the input.
