Been a while, saw the update, again it's all very interesting. I have been very busy with Savannah. She has been very ill. Tuesday she woke up with a low grade fever (101) but by 8pm it was up to 105.2. Wednesday my grandfather took her to the doctor in Indiana and he said she had an ear infection and bronchitis and put her on an anitbiotic. That night her temperature got up to 104.3. In the afternoon and she was vomitting up her medicine. She was rushed to E.R. where they gave her a suppository and then Tylenol but her temperature continued to rise until she got some Advil into her system. Then they released her with instructions to get Tylenol every 4 hours, Advil every 6, her Amoxicillin every 8 and her stomache medicine as needed. It was a long night but her temperature broke by morning. When I left Thursday afternoon for work on Friday, she was holding her own and her temperature had only reached 103. My grandmother was supposed to call me if her temperature got up to the 104 range again. She didn't realize you had to add a degree if taken under the arm though and she never got a hold of me thinkinig Savannah's temperature was only 103.3, when it was really 104.3.

Yet the next day she called me to let me know the doctor changed Savannah's perscription to a stronger anitbiotic. I asked how she was doing and by then her temperature was back up to 104.4 and she wasn't waking up very well. I rushed back to Indiana (from Kentucky) and took Savannah to a different doctor. Her first urine test showed all kinds of blood in her urine and they are now treating her for a kidney infection also. The thing that has me concerned is her temperature keeps spiking and when it does she complains about pain in her left arm and hand.

Yesterday after being on antibiotics since Wednesday (4 days), Savannah's temperature spiked back up to 104.4 and it took 4 hours to bring it back down. Later that afternoon, she was feeling better though and wanted to show me the Macarena, but shortly after, she had started to clench her hand over her chest and came back to the sofa to sit down saying her chest hurt. Her fever went back up last night, but so far today (Sunday) it hasn't been over 102. Her skin feels cold and clammy though and of course she is still very pale, also I have to keep wiping dried blood from her nose. I think her nose is just bleeding from all of the drainage that has been going on yet I am still very worried about her. Her teacher said she has complained of her head hurting for over a month and her stools haven't been normal for about the same period of time.

After seeing 3 different doctors now, none of them has checked her pulse or blood pressure yet, even though I have told them about how her heart has been racing and how she has complained about her arm and hand hurting her when her temperature is up. She hasn't complained about her ears hurting nor her head and only swirmed a bit when the doctor was feeling her kidney area. I am still very worried about her, but had to leave her in Indiana with my grandparents so I could get back to work. If you could be so kind as to look into her health situation for me I would be so ever thankful.
